I started my career at Morgan Stanley managing institutional portfolios, then moved to Wells Fargo's investment banking group where I worked on transactions in the Technology Group. After business school at USC Marshall, I went independent as a fractional CFO.
For the last several years I've run DMW Advisory, a fractional CFO practice serving companies in the $5M to $50M revenue range across professional services, eCommerce, education, nonprofit, and media. I manage the full scope: monthly reporting packages, three-statement forecasting, scenario planning, board presentations, debt negotiations, and the inevitable 'can we afford to hire?' calls.
That work is where DMW FinTel came from. Not from a whiteboard. From doing the actual job, every month, for real clients.
